[20 October 2008] - Portsmouth Guildhall
20th October 2007 Portsmouth Guildhall: Wow what a gig and what an after-show party! Thankyou to all who came. A night to be remembered. Shame everyone seemed to have seen our flasher but the band. Ah well you can’t have it all!
[04 August 2007] - Roonstock Music Festival
This rocked. We swam in the lake. Got sunburnt. Ate barbecue. Drank far far too much to still be able to play instruments. Played one of the most enjoyable sets of our career. Drank far more too much. Danced the night away. Then a barely standing Jon did open mic for what was left in the evening with some other similarly wrecked boys. Lovely people. Lovely location. Lovely night. Congratulations also to the happy couple! Please have us back next year!
[06 July 2007] The Chichester Inn - Formal Dress Night
Hmmm smart dress gigs feel like you are playing at a wedding. This gig was okay. The usual Chichester Inn ambience was just not there though. To the dancing army thankyou… to the new people dancing away and loving it outside the big windows it was lovely to see you so enthused and thankyou for telling us how much you liked it. Next time however… smoking ban or no smoking ban… GET INVOLVED! That way everyone will have a better time and we will feel less like a jukebox. Quote of the night: “this is what the future of indie music sounds like”. Awesome.
[23 May 2007] The Joiners - St Mary St. Southampton
Supporting “The Hoosiers” on a wednesday night, people travelled far and wide to see us and screamed themselves silly… we upped our game at this one. It was nice to walk away with heads held high.
To relive the mid week party have a look at CriminalRecordz.com and go to the social hub.
[28 April 2007] LIVE! The Chichester Inn
This venue is good because:
- it’s in staggering distance of someones house so we can all get treed.
- it’s nice and intimate so we all get messy together.
- we always have an awesome time there… this was no exception.
How much fun? When people sing the words very loudly it makes us feel special. You’re all lovely.
Slamming set from DJ Bigby beforehand - thankyou! Have a search for revolution 74 on YouTube. You might find something fun.
[01 January 07] You are the Disco Ep - Review
Our latest Ep You are the Disco has just recently received a review over at A Cool Noise. Go check it out, oh and Happy New Year!
[30 Nov 06] LIVE! Chichester University Students Union

If only this could have been on a Friday or a Saturday night. This gig was awesome. Probably ranks amongst the best we have ever played. The sound was great and, even if we do say so ourselves, we were great too. Just a shame it was a bit “calmer” than usual because everyone had to get up for work. Next time everyone match drinks with the managing director of Criminal Recordz. Then you’ll know what a hangover at work is! Seriously though, top notch: Superb sound engineer, superb venue and as always a superb crowd. Thanks to the “Lost Dogs” for support and congratulations on your first gig. There will be a video of our new song from this gig going up on the site very soon.
[25 Nov 06] LIVE! The Water Rats Kings Cross WC1X 8BZ
Supporting the mighty Pagan Wanderer Lu on his EP release night at one of the most prestigious venues on the underground music circuit. It seemed fate was against us: The bassist got lost with half the gear on the way so we almost missed soundcheck and then the sound engineer couldn’t speak English so it didn’t really matter anyway. We have had better gigs. Thankyou to all who came though… sorry the sound was so shite. Still for those of you who only come to revel in Ben’s beat dealing: At least you didn’t have the rest of the band getting in the way! We will be back.
[20 Oct 06] LIVE! The Chichester Inn
Gosh now you should have seen this coming! This gig defines why we love Chichester… Because Chichester f**king rocks. The best alternative venue in Chichester didn’t know what had hit it. The place was filled to the rafters with dancing army old and new… we were all a bit drunk… we sang… we danced… we fell in love and we sweated like the filthy disco punk band we truly are. Banging. We enjoyed this one: A lot.p>
